1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TheAfterGame, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

TheAfterGame is a sports match recommendation platform that provides:

  • AI-powered, spoiler-free match analysis and verdicts
  • Personalized match recommendations based on user-defined rules
  • Team following and match rating features

TheAfterGame is an independent platform created for informational and entertainment purposes. TheAfterGame is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any sports league, competition, federation, club, team, or governing body.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and current account information

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
  • Use automated means to access or collect data from the platform without our written consent
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Post harmful, offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content

5. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All original content, features, and functionality of TheAfterGame — including but not limited to the website design, user interface, software, algorithms, AI models, analysis, summaries, verdicts, and rule-based evaluations — are owned by TheAfterGame and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Content

Match data and statistics are obtained from licensed third-party data providers. Team names, competition names, logos, trademarks, and other third-party marks displayed on the platform are the property of their respective owners.

Such third-party content is used solely for identification and descriptive purposes to reference sporting events, teams, and matches. This use constitutes nominative fair use under applicable trademark law. TheAfterGame does not claim ownership over any third-party trademarks, logos, or raw match data.

No official match broadcasts, live video feeds, or proprietary broadcast content are reproduced on this platform.

Takedown Requests

If you are a rights holder and believe content on TheAfterGame infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at legal@theaftergame.app with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark claimed to be infringed
  • The specific URL(s) where the allegedly infringing content appears
  • Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner

We will acknowledge receipt within 72 hours and respond substantively within 14 business days.

6. Disclaimers

TheAfterGame is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of match analysis or recommendations
  • Uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free service
  • Coverage of all matches, leagues, or sporting events
  • That AI-generated content is free from errors or inaccuracies

Sports & Gambling Disclaimer: TheAfterGame is an entertainment and informational service only. It is not a gambling platform, does not provide betting advice, and is not affiliated with any sportsbook or betting operator. Our match recommendations should not be used as the basis for any wagering decisions.

AI Disclaimer: Match analysis and verdicts are generated using artificial intelligence and automated systems. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information and should be treated as entertainment, not factual reporting.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TheAfterGame and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed one hundred euros (€100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Paris, France.

For users in the European Union: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
